The dinosaurs held a party
On the night they became extinct;
The prehistoric punch was cloudy
But everyone took a drink.
Iguanadon and his brother Ron
Played “Chopsticks” on the keys;
Pteradactyls swung from the chandelier
And brought us to our knees.
Barosaurus scared us
With his stories of the war;
Triceratops was flirting
With a real cute carnosaur.
In the morning they were gone
Leaving only large footprints;
I miss those crazy dinosaurs
We haven’t partied since!
